【トレンド岩国】新しくなった岩国駅に行ってみました！

トレンド岩国でございます！
Hello~!
We are HOTEL TREND IWAKUNI!
今日は昨年11月26日に新しくなりました、岩国駅について
ご紹介したいと思います(^^)/
We would like to show you Iwakuni train station which was renovated November 26th, last year.
まずは外観！
This is external appearance.
以前の姿が思い出せなくなるほど綺麗に！！
念願のエレベーター、エスカレーターももちろんございます！(笑)
上へあがると、岩国珈琲というカフェがあり、その先に改札がございます。
This looks so beautiful that we cannot recall previous building!
And finally we got elevator and escalator.
Ticket gate is on 2nd floor, and there is café, Iwakuni Coffee.
セブンイレブンは1階、2階どちらにもございます♪
1階のセブンイレブンは、“おみやげ街道”でもあり、岩国と周辺の地域のお土産が
たくさんそろっていました(*^^*)
They have Convenience store, Seven-Eleven, on both 1st and 2nd floor.
Especially at the Seven-Eleven on 1st floor, they have a variety of gifts of Iwakuni.
岩国といえば！
世界に誇るお酒！
Speaking of Iwakuni, you can’t forget about its world famous rice wine, sake!
獺祭はお酒だけでなく、ケーキやお煎餅などもありました！
World-well-known sake “Dassai” is also used for cakes and crackers.
獺祭が染み込ませてあったり、酒粕を使用していたりして、飲まなくても
獺祭の風味が楽しめるそうです♪
In the process of making the cake, they soak the cake in sake or they use sake lees in the dough, so you can enjoy the rich flavor of the sake even though you are not actually drinking it♪
おとなり広島の、もみじまんじゅうもたくさん種類がありました！
They also have a lot of “momiji manju”, leaf shaped steamed buns from Hiroshima!
各メーカーのもみじまんじゅうや、カープ好きにはたまらない！カープのデザインの
もの、写真には写っていませんが、皮がもちもちの生もみじもありましたよ！！
They have various brands of “momiji-manju”. If you are one of the Carp baseball team fan, you can’t say no to this momiji manju with Carp logo on its bag!
They also have some special kind of momiji manju with delicious chewy texture!!
地元民でも知らないお土産もたくさんあり、見ているだけでも楽しめます♪
There are some souvenirs even we, local people have never seen. We are sure you’ll have fun just looking at them.
駅を出て、左側に進むとバス乗り場がございます。
If you go to the left out of the station, you’ll see a bus terminal.
岩国錦帯橋空港や新岩国駅、錦帯橋へもここから行けます♪
You can take a bus here to Iwakuni airport, Shin-Iwakuni Shinkansen Station (bullet train) and the Kintai bridge.
こんな、珍しい？面白い？切符の自動販売機が！
Wow, look at this unique vending machine they have!
錦帯橋までのチケットや、バスカードが売っていました♪
錦帯橋へまではバスで15～20分(^^)/
本数もたくさんございます♪
You can buy a bus card and tickets to Kintai bridge.
It takes about 15 minutes to 20 minutes to the bridge.
The bus is operated relatively frequently.
岩国駅、バス乗り場までは、当ホテルから5～6分(*^^)v
電車、バスの時刻表もフロントに準備しておりますので

It’s only 5 or 6 minute walk from our hotel to the station and the bus terminal.
We also have the train and bus schedule at the front desk.
